Large Floor Cushion

Color: yellow desert

It’s very hard to find a piece that’s between an easy chair and an ottoman. In most living spaces we find we have a functional need for extra seating that doesn’t take up much space, doesn’t stand out from the decor and also fills an aesthetic role in the design. This large cushion ticks all the boxes! It’s very unique in style, the wooden handles allow us to easily move it around the space (It’s more lightweight than it looks!) so it fills any functional or decorative need at a given time.

Selecting the item’s color is an important choice. It should pop and give a finishing touch for the dominant shades of the space. I highly recommend selecting the color after you’ve chosen the wall colors and larger pieces of furniture for the room. I love this yellow desert shade because it’s just the right amount of color for most spaces, and beautifully compliments ant wooden pieces or flooring in the room.

Most urban apartments are fairly limited in space. As a designer I often need to find functional items for tiny spaces, without compromising the aesthetic. In my hometown of Tel Aviv for example, most dining areas are fairly small, and will include different seating solutions in the same space. One such solution is this stool. Comfortable stools are not easy to come by, especially ones that add a design twist to the dinner table. To me this pieces a must for any small apartment.

I love how unique this pillow shape is, yet it somehow blends perfectly in any design I add it to! It brings a bit of a wink and uplifts any sofa or bed, and I almost always combine it with the Oak Leaf cushion to make a perfect pair.
